Will this be our last allergy update?
I hope so!
We went to the allergist this week and discussed the results of introducing food back into Nathan's diet. While in Virginia we started him on milk, and guess what?
IT WAS JUST FINE!
So Nathan indulged himself on cookies, pizza, gold fish, quesadillas, homemade ice cream, butter, cream cheese, brownies, and anything else his little heart desired. It is wonderful! I was so worried the whole time, it was hard to remember that he could have all those foods, I kept having to remind myself it was okay because my first reactions whenever he was offered something was to say no.
The only downside it that it's looking more and more like his problems aren't allergy related, but IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), but we go to the GI doctor next week so we'll know more then.
We are so happy to have milk back!
