Zoo Boo

3 weeks ago (the week before our big move) on a whim I decided to shirk my responsibilities and  have fun with the kids so we headed to the Zoo for Zoo Boo! They were supposed to wear their costumes but they were already at the new house, so I was the lame mom who didn't let her kids wear costumes...Nathan was disappointed but thankfully he quickly got over it.

We colored

Tried to identify the mystery items

Got spider rings

Saw the tiger closer than we ever have before, usually he's hiding in the very back behind bushes and the kids can hardly see, so this was cool!

Saw the lions, elephants, and komodo dragon

Played on the dinosaur

Touched some reptiles (Abby LOVED this)

Picked out and colored a pumpkin

Played with the chimps

brushed the goats

and did a bit of trick or treating and played Halloween games.
It was a fun morning and I'm glad we went.  Maybe next year I'll be more prepared...
