Boston Vacation- Day 2

We started off the morning attempting to get to Church- unfortunately there was a race going on that morning and we had no idea how to cross the Charles River with the bridges closed for the runners- we stopped and asked a cop and, his accent was incredible. I've never actually heard a real, true, so thick you can hardly understand it, Boston accent.  We were all so fascinated by it we didn't actually listen to the directions he gave us :) We made it to church just a few minutes late and ended up running into some friends from Virginia there.

After Church we headed over to the Boston Temple.  It was gorgeous and I'm so glad we got to go visit- it was a beautiful temple and wish I had taken more pictures!

We then headed over to Harvard for a quick little walk around campus- they were setting up for graduation that afternoon so it was crazy busy.

But we did go to the best sandwich shop right by campus for lunch which my dad's coworkers had recommended- seriously so good and cheap and I can't even remember the name.  Yeah for Dad's with friends who went to Harvard.

We then dropped Chris off at his Conference- that's the whole reason why we were there right? I guess he'd have to go a little bit, poor Chris!

After the kids slept and Chris got back we walked down the street to Trinity Square- it was cool being so close- I really loved the area of town we were staying in.

After delicious seafood dinner we finally got the kids to bed- another great day in Boston!
