The Graduate

Nate had such a great time this past year at Pre-K.  While I debated about whether or not to send him (programs are so expensive here) Chris knew better and helped calm my doubts...of course Chris was right and Nate had an amazing year, learned so much, made great friends, and had a blast.

When it was time for graduation I couldn't believe how much he had grown- I'm so proud of this kid! I tried to get a nice picture of him but he was so busy having fun and being happy this was the best I got...I guess it's the most accurate about how he felt :)

his self portrait in the program

so glad Chris was able to skip out of work for a couple hours and join us!

Here's some videos of the singing

Afterwards they invited the families to stay for a picnic lunch in the gym.
notice that Chick-Fil-A bag in the background? Turns out every other family in the class besides the two other Mormon families bought Chick-Fil-A...us three Mormons all packed a lunch...apparently we missed the memo. Thankfully the kids were happy with their pb&j :)

They did an impromptu dance concert of their favorite song from music class

And just had a ton of fun playing and eating cake.

His teachers Ms Nicole and Ms Janelle were so awesome- seriously the best teachers ever and Nate absolutely adored them.

Here's hoping Kindergarten is just as awesome as Pre-K!
