Boston Vacation- Day 4

We tried to finish up the Freedom Trail this day, unfortunately I didn't really check the weather enough and it was so chilly, it made for a rough morning for the kids since they were freezing the whole time! My bad. Our first stop was Faneuil Hall. We made sure to do all the important and historically significant things, like dress the kids up like crabs.

We still managed to see some cool things along the way, but most of it was definitely less kid friendly so they didn't have much fun till the very end when we got to the park.

We made up for the lack luster morning by riding the carousal at Boston Commons.  That made the kids happier!

And headed over to the Public Gardens (of Make Way For Ducklings fame) and rode on a swan boat.

WE headed to the pool- which was Nate's only request for the whole Boston trip anyway.  The water was quite hilly so Elise (and I) spent 95% of the time in the hot tub :)

That evening Chris and I made a late night run back to Mike's Pastry. It was right on the orange line and so was our hotel.  PERFECT! We braved a freezing cold rainstorm to go back and it was totally worth it.  And this was when not only did my cannoli obsession grow even more, but the brownie was literally like eating heaven. My mouth is watering just thinking about it all.
